#1. Call an agent to receive a complimentary estimate as to your current home worth. Profit is crucial in determining what you can afford next. You can also look into HELOC or Bridge-loan products if you want to offer non-contingent on the sale of your current home.

#2. Get a pre-inspection done. A lot of deals fall apart when a buyer has an inspection done and surprises come up, so get a pre-inspection done to avoid a deal exploding! We pay for this for our clients.
